At Baker, sixth graders can now earn bulldog bucks for attendance, behavior, academic success, and showing good character. Students can spend their bucks on privileges and prizes throughout the year!
On Thursday, March 9, 2017, Baker Intermediate will host their second annual “Just Because” Grandparents Day! Students are encouraged to invite their grandparents to lunch at school! If a student’s grandparents are unavailable, they are more than welcome to invite an “Honorary Grandparent” or another loved one! If you need to know your child’s lunch time, please ask them or contact the school at 859-745-5190. We hope to see you there!
Clark County educators from Baker, Conkwright, and Shearer traveled to Columbus, Ohio to attend the National Reading Recovery and K-6 Literacy Conference on January 29-31, 2017. These awesome teachers and administrators were able to see, listen, and interact with educators from across the country, as well as some of the nation’s leading minds in reading and writing. Upon returning to Clark County, they will share all sorts of knowledge, strategies, and resources with their students, colleagues, and schools,

On Thursday, January 26, 2017, Baker Intermediate School will host the 3rd Annual Clark County Public Schools Health & Fitness Extravaganza from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Come out and enjoy an evening of fun activities and information from community organizations and partners. In addition to all the fun, there will be a drawing to win a FitBit! This event is sponsored by Baker Intermediate and the Clark County Elementary Schools. The Health & Fitness Extravaganza is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend.
