COSTUMES


As part of Red Ribbon Week, next Friday, October 27th is “Dont be tricked: Drugs are no treat Day!”  Students can wear their Halloween costume to school ! No masks, face-coverings, props, or weapons (fake or otherwise). Costumes should meet the BIS
dress code, in terms of cut, length, and appropriateness. Please Share!

Three Bulldogs Make All-State Chorus

Congrats to Ella Brock, Emma Durrence, and Rileigh Walls on being selected to
participate in the Kentucky Chapter of the American Choral Director’s Association All-State Chorus for 5th & 6th grade students. It will be held in Lexington on Friday,
November 3 with a concert on Saturday, November 4 at 11:30am at the UK
Singletary Center. These Baker Bulldogs were selected for this group from over 700
auditions from across the state. WOW! Congratulations and good luck!

VETERNS DAY CELEBRATION

MARK YOUR CALENDAR! On Friday, November 10, 2017, Baker Intermediate School will host its annual Veterans Day Celebration! Wear your Red, White, and Blue, as Baker Intermediate honors our Nation’s Veterans. The Veterans Day Breakfast will begin at 8:00 AM for Veterans and for any student who has a Veteran in attendance. A school-wide assembly will follow at 9:30 AM. All students and staff are encouraged to invite a Veteran to both the breakfast and the assembly!
