Clark County Partners in Education

Igniting the Desire to Learn

BAM!! Be A Man

The Partners in Education, “BAM!!”, or, “Be A Man”, program is geared toward male students in our school system.  Male volunteers meet with these students at our public schools for one hour per month. These sessions focus on the importance of reading, but are also a mentoring opportunity.  The goal is for students to go home on a monthly basis with an age appropriate book.  If you are interested in volunteering for the programming or making a donation, please reach out to PIE director, Greg Yates at Greg.Yates@Clark.KYSchools.US. Below is a picture of a few great “BAM!!”, men in Clark County. Included is our PIE director, Greg Yates (bottom row, 3rd from right), Clark County Mayor, Ed Burtner (bottom row, 1st on right) and local attorney, Brian Thomas. (top row, left) Thank you, gentlemen for your time and support of our students!
